Top Organizing Hacks For Your Home

As you wish to become a more well-prepared and organized person in the coming year, you need to be aware of the tools that you can use to achieve positive results. Which tool you need will always depend on your end needs.

Here are a selection to get you started!

• Google calendar – this tool will help you keep your whole life organized intuitively and minimise interference’s or inconveniences.

• A pile of index cards – these are a great capture tool! With these cards, you can keep your to-do lists, your notes as well as your project lists. These tools are very modifiable, handy and convenient to use.

OR if you are a digital lover…. use Trello. A digital version of the index cards! Super easy to use.

• A landing strip close to the front door – it can be used for unloading all your items & to-dos, so everything stays organized. Place things you need to take out the house with you – you will not forget anything again!

You can have it in any style you prefer. One suggestion would be to have a group of hooks designed for backpacks and lunch bags for the kids (if you have children of course!). You can also have a box that holds your keys, mobile phone, your sunglasses and other day to day items.

• The rubbish bin – before you become organised, you have to separate your unimportant items from those that you use. Throw away or recycle/donate all items that are not absolutely important to you.

  • Nice read, I just passed this onto a friend who was doing some research on that. And he just bought me lunch because I found it for him smile So let me rephrase that: Thanks for lunch!
